The hard lessons I learned from having kids young

No matter what age you have a child, there are things you will have to learn the hard way- like just how bitchy you can be on 2 hours broken sleep, or how much chocolate you can consume without being sick (or is that just me?).  I had H at the tender age of 21, Max at 22, and was running my own business by 23- I have to throw that in-, then Charlie at 26.  Becoming a Mum at such a young age meant I had to learn some things faster than I might have otherwise, and some of those things were pretty hard lessons.

Birth; what I wish I knew

There were so many questions I had about what having a baby would be like when I was pregnant for the first time.  Would it be really painful? Would I be able to have pain relief? How would I know what to do and would I be able to have control? I wanted the answers and everything I was told, or read was so vague I couldn’t nail down one answer.  It took me 3 babies to realize the reason that so much information was conflicting was because every birth is different! Pregnancy- a review

Oh the glowing, and puking and swelling and baby flutters- isn’t it a wonderful time full of exciting, nerve-racking and sometimes embarrassing moments-  pregnancy sure is a rollercoaster of highs and lows!

Pregnancy Style on a budget

Being pregnant brings with it all sorts of new challenges and one that I found pretty challenging was style.  Anyone who knows me, knows I’m not that style savvy (at all) but we all like to feel good about how we look and I find that for me, a lot of that comes from the clothes I wear.  Here’s a quick guide to what I wore during my pregnancy with Charlie, while sticking to a pretty strict budget (and being limited to access to shops- hello online shopping!)
